The Gumikin, a race of sentient beings made of the malleable substance called Gumi, originated on the planet Nova Prime over 20,000 years ago. While their exact origin remains shrouded in mystery, Gumikin have thrived on their homeworld, using Gumi to shape their bodies, construct advanced Gumicraft Starships, and forge societies. Their expansion to other planets within the galaxy was propelled by the discovery of G-Comets and the subsequent development of wormhole portal technology, leading to the rise of powerful Gumi Space Cartels. However, the cataclysmic explosion of a neighboring Dark Star disrupted their way of life, causing resource shortages and societal turmoil. The rise of VoidCorp and the development of wormhole portal generators transformed the Gumikin universe into a battleground of cartels vying for Gumi resources, while ancient traditions, diverse alien races, and the pursuit of power continue to shape their destiny.
